Harvest 2014 moves on to Wheat

Harvest 2014 has now moved on the wheat. The above field, the Mill Field, which was begun today, is growing milling wheat this year -- set to become bread in the coming weeks.

Eco sustainability.

The solar array has been in place for two and a half years and has generated over 100 000 kWh. And the ground sorce heating plant has been operating for ayear and created a similar output of clean energy.

Harvest 2014 underway

The 2014 harvest has begun. This is the first load of oil seed rape. It came off at 10 per cent moisture. 

Fledging blackbirds

This week a family of blsckbirds are learning to fly in the courtyard.
